I chose UF because I felt like the residents were happy and had formed strong bonds with each other. I liked the family feel of the program and the university setting. Since moving to Gainesville, I’ve enjoyed exploring the swamps and beaches of Florida, going to UF football games, and being within driving distance of Disney World! My interests in medicine include underserved populations and Women’s Health. After graduation I hope to practice full-scope Family Medicine closer to my home in Appalachia.
